Chill Corner is exactly that, a beautiful space to chill and sip wonderful coffee. Situated in Thao Dien, the Chill Corner experience starts with a peaceful outdoor courtyard with simple seating and a large glass wall that previews the warm and inviting interior. Stepping in, it immediately feels you’ve entered into another dimension. Soothing blues and soul music are playing, the earthy tones and soft yellow lighting give a distinctively peaceful vibe.
The long serving counter has bar seating next to the immaculately maintained coffee machinery, definitely a nice spot for coffees. As you move further into the venue’s long interior, it opens into a beautifully architected space that uses wood planks to form an artistic structure underneath large skylights. It’s a captivating feature that adds character and beautiful lighting. The walls are richly coloured and textured and feature various artworks; with long wood tables for get togethers on one side, and smaller cafe tables along the other. There’s a beautiful attention to detail in how the whole experience is shaped.
Coffee. It’s good, very good. The beans are sourced from Da Lat and cover the full range of Vietnamese and Espresso coffee styles. Each sip of the Latte was enjoyable and the perfect compliment to the surrounds. Food can also be ordered to complete the picture. Overall Chill Corner is a unique and enjoyable experience that is well worth making your next cafe visit.
