Cafe Review
Nomad Cold Brew Coffee feels perfectly in the right place occupying a quiet little nook at the end of a laneway. It’s friendly and appealing frontage invitingly draws you into its space that has a certain intimate character and charm to its layout, decor and artworks. Within a relatively small space it has a variety of seating configurations such as bar seating, standard tables and chairs (they’re really comfortable) and couches. Outside there’s even small mats placed along the large windows for outdoor coffee sipping.
As the name implies, Nomad specialises in cold brew coffee but with a twist. Think cold brew meets cocktails as they masterfully mix beautiful presentation with a wonderful array of flavourings that ’spice up’ traditional cold brew coffee with the likes of apricot, watermelon, orange cinnamon, lychee and more – there’s even a milk foam variation.
They also offer the usual range of espresso based drinks and Vietnamese coffee. The latte sampled was a very easy drinking Ethiopian and Vietnamese blended coffee that was well prepared and presented. A small assortment of enticing pastries were also available.
On a weekend morning it was bustling with customers enjoying coffees with a nice mix of people, it’s a good vibe and one that is easy to settle into and enjoy some superbly made coffees.
