Cafe Review
Green Coffee occupies the ground floor of a house at the intersection of a small bridge and beautiful greenery lined river. The cafe nicely wraps around the house and is divided into three sections.
The middle section points directly into the intersection and features a large coffee ordering window. A doorway to the side of the window gives access to a small window lined and air conditioned indoor seating area. A handful of tables and chairs, bar seating and pleasant lighting make for an easy place to relax with a book or laptop.
The other 2 sections are on either sides of the serving window, each are outdoor seating areas with their own chilled out vibe. Of particular note is the row of seats with a serene view of the river across the street.
The coffee comes available in Vietnamese Cà phê đen, Cà phê sữa and Bạc xỉu as well as espresso drinks (Americano, Cappuccino and Latte). While perhaps not strictly ‘authentic’, the milk based espresso drinks are fun and tasty.
Green Coffee’s vibe is always most peaceful, birds are often chirping away, music is easy going and staff friendly. It’s a nice little getaway when you want to shift down a gear or two in District 7.
