Cafe Review
Walking into the front courtyard of 96B Cafe & Roastery is like stepping into a modern oasis of tranquility. Stepping inside, the industrial modern theme runs throughout – starting with the bold central counter featuring an assortment of pastries and their superb lineup of coffee equipment.
Liberal use of concrete, metal and stone throughout plus carefully choreographed lighting give it a minimal and distinct vibe.
Upstairs offers a variety of seating along the length of the floor, and at the back features sit-down steps to enjoy your coffee conversing with friends. This was inspired by similar concepts in Korean cafes. The floor to ceiling glass front of the upstairs opens up to a cozy small patio for relaxing outside under shade.
The real draw of 96B however, is in fact their wonderful coffee. Roasted in-house on-site 2 to 3 times per week, they offer a range of locally sourced Vietnamese coffees and a mix of internationally sourced coffees. Whether you sip the coffee there, or buy their packs of whole bean coffee for brewing at home – the coffee really is a treat. They even offer regularly occurring coffee classes to help you perfect your coffee abilities.
