Walking into Friends Coffee Roasters, you’ll see a couple hints right away at what’s in store for you. Firstly the various framed coffee association certifications hanging on the wall, and secondly their in-house coffee roasting machine sitting prominently near the entrance.
It all equals fantastic in-house freshly roasted coffee, whether you prefer a classic espresso style drink, drip coffee, cold brew, Vietnamese or even their own Korean Dalgona style coffee. It’s prepared tasty and nicely balanced with precise and attractive latte art by their barista on every visit.
The tranquil venue is narrow but deep, with a large window and cafe seating occupying the front. Going further in, the coffee roasting machine heads a long serving counter along the left with seating along the length of the right wall.
Heading upstairs, the space feels open and provides ample seating options. A large table perfect for meeting with friends or colleagues along with an assortment of smaller tables to choose from.
And as their name suggests, the staff are always incredibly friendly and attentive, making your stay enjoyable and well looked after. When in Cầu Giấy, be sure to drop in for a pleasant cup of coffee.
