Cafe Review

Started back in 2018, Chapel Coffee Roasters in Cầu Giấy has built a reputation for offering a variety of speciality coffees roasted in-house with beans sourced locally and around the world.

The venue entrance drops you straight into its store area where a prominent counter lined with a bank of overhead lighting showcases coffee equipment and dessert showcase. Across from the counter, a wall of shelves featuring their variety of roasted coffee beans, coffee equipment and beautiful assortment of Loveramics branded mugs. It’s excruciatingly difficult to resist buying something to bring home.

Towards the back of the venue, there’s a coffee machine sales area and section dedicated to their coffee roasting facilities you can look at.

Take the stairs to their upper floor and you have 3 distinct areas to choose from to enjoy your coffee. The back area is a nicely decorated room with tile flooring, while and green walls and a mixture of furnishings to sit.

Moving to the middle area is a medium sized space with seating along the perimeter that looks out to the last area – the atrium. The atrium is bathed with natural light, wood walls, stained concrete flooring and mixture of seating configurations.

However nice the venue, coffee is the highlight. To be able to have such a range of freshly roasted specialty coffee in whichever brewing style you’d like is really a treat. Their expert baristas produce well prepared coffee that hits the spot.

Whether you want to enjoy a mug of coffee there, or bring home beans for your own home brewing, it’s worth a visit to Chapel Coffee Roasters.
